Terms of Use
SIA “Mūsu Auto Valmiera”, registration No. 4410308046, address: Rīgas iela 86A, Valmiera, LV-4201, hereinafter – the online store – provides the content available on the website and sells products in accordance with the Terms of Use set out below.
1. General provisions
If a consumer purchases gift cards through the website, such an agreement is considered a distance contract and is governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, including, but not limited to, the Consumer Rights Protection Law, Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 “Regulations on Distance Contracts”, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Making purchases
The prices and specifications of gift cards offered in the online store are indicated next to the corresponding product.
To place an order, add the desired gift card to your shopping cart, fill in the required information, and confirm the order. After payment is completed, the purchase is considered confirmed.
3. Payment terms
The currency on the website is Euro (EUR). Payment can be made using the payment platform makecommerce.lv (Maksekeskus AS) via the following methods:
- Latvian internet bank payments: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, and Luminor
- Payment cards: Visa and Mastercard
Note! When using internet banking payment, after the payment is completed, click “Return to Merchant” to finalize the transaction.
Personal data necessary for payment is transmitted to the licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS.
The contract comes into force once the payment is successfully completed. If it is not possible to fulfill the order, the Buyer will be notified, and the amount paid will be refunded within 14 days.
4. Delivery terms
After payment, gift cards are delivered in one of the following ways:
- Digital gift card is sent to the Buyer’s email in PDF format;
- Printed gift card can be collected in person at SIA “Mūsu Auto Valmiera”, Rīgas iela 86A, Valmiera.
Delivery via parcel machines, courier, or postal service is not provided.
5. Right of withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchased gift card within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, if the card has not yet been used.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must fill out the withdrawal form (downloadable here: [Withdrawal Form]) and send it to info-valmiera@mmg.lv within 14 days from the date of purchase.
The refund will be made to the same account from which the payment was made, no later than 14 days from receipt of the withdrawal.
The validity of gift cards is 6 months from the date of purchase. After this period, the card cannot be used and will not be compensated.
6. Consumer rights for non-conforming goods
If the issued gift card is damaged or unavailable for use (e.g., technical error), the Buyer has the right to submit a complaint to info-valmiera@mmg.lv.
The complaint must be submitted within 2 months from the detection of non-conformity, but no later than 6 months from the purchase date. If the defect is confirmed, the card will be replaced or fully compensated.
7. Processing of buyer’s personal data
The online store processes only those personal data necessary for order processing – name, surname, email, payment data.
Personal data is shared with:
- Payment service provider Maksekeskus AS
- For accounting purposes – only as required by law
If the buyer agrees to receive marketing notifications, their email may be used for this purpose. It is possible to unsubscribe from marketing notifications by writing to info-valmiera@mmg.lv.
Data Controller: SIA “Mūsu Auto Valmiera”, Rīgas iela 86A, Valmiera. Data is not stored longer than necessary for contract fulfillment or as required by law.
8. Dispute resolution
For issues not covered in these Terms, the Buyer and Seller shall follow the applicable laws of the Republic of Latvia.
Disputes are resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the Parties may refer the matter to court or the Consumer Rights Protection Center. The Buyer may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/odr
